School Profile

Taiyuan Elementary School English Introduction
The school was established in 1929. In the Japanese occupation era, it was called the second-class system of the public school. After the recovery of Taiwan, the school was renamed Taitung County Plateau National School. In 1947, the school was renamed Taiyuan County Taiyuan Elementary School.

In 1947, the Beixi branch campus was established. In 1957, Beixi Branch established an independent school, which is now the Beiyuan Primary School. In 1957, the Nanxi sub-classroom was established. In 1962, the Nanxi sub-classroom was independently established as the Shang German Min Elementary School. In 1968, the government implemented nine-year national compulsory education, and the school was ordered to change its name to Taiyuan Elementary School in Donghe Township, Taitung County. In 1999, Suntech Elementary School was established and set up as a branch of Suntech. In 2003, Suntech branch school laid off.

The school is located in the Taiyuan Valley, the school district is vast, students scattered in more than 10,000 hectares of mountain areas. At present, the school has set up 6 classes of ordinary classes, 1 class of decentralized resource classes, and 1 class of kindergartens. The total number of students is nearly 100, 75 in the small department and 16 in kindergarten. The overall education of the school attaches importance to the balanced development of the five-education, and strives to let the children grow up in the atmosphere of love and the wisdom of inheritance, so that their talents can be free and shining, and can create a beautiful life together with all people. The current principal is Mr. Huang Kuo-Chiang , who has served on August 1, 2018.
